Inspired by the ancient Norse tradition of drawing strength at the meeting place of land and water, The Fjord expands your sanctuary into a space of flow, fire, and profound memory. Nordic Joinery & Legendary Craftsmanship

At the heart of The Fjord is our signature Hybrid Timber Frame + Routed Log Wall System, scaled for greater comfort and presence:

• Massive Corner Posts: Carved from 6x6 or 8x8 timbers, each post is routered with vertical dado channels, allowing precision-milled log courses to slot securely into place—an homage to Viking longhouse construction.

• Soul Dowels: Structural hardwood pins—optional rune-carved—fasten each log course, echoing shipbuilder traditions where every joinery mark told a story.

• Half-Lap Joinery: Base and top beams are locked with half-lap joints and pegged fasteners, honoring old-world simplicity with modern strength.

• Charred Accents (Shou Sugi Ban): Select surfaces are hand-burned and brushed to evoke elemental contrast, deepen the grain, and add natural resilience to the wood.
